The application of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) among elementary school students remains suboptimal due to low knowledge and a lack of early-established healthy living habits. This condition highlights the need for interactive health education tailored to children's developmental characteristics. This initiative aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of first and second grade students at SD Negeri 1 Tumpakrejo in applying PHBS. The method used was a community service approach implemented through three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The initiative included the delivery of material using presentation media, demonstration and practice of handwashing with soap, the delivery of dental health awareness through an educational video, and an interactive quiz. Evaluation was conducted by observing student participation, enthusiasm, and comprehension, along with quiz results as an indicator of improved understanding. The results of the activity showed that all students participated enthusiastically throughout the educational program. During the activity, the students actively engaged in every session, were able to answer the quiz questions, and successfully demonstrated the proper handwashing steps with soap according to the guidance provided. Approaches based on direct experience, visual media, and interactive activities proved more effective in enhancing student engagement than verbal delivery of material alone. These findings indicate that PHBS education tailored to the characteristics of elementary school students has the potential to shape clean and healthy living habits from an early age.
